Engin offers a wide range of calling features. V-mail, our most popular inclusion, allows you to have your voice mail messages sent as a sound file to your email in box. Check the full range of features below.
V-mail
Receive an electronic voicemail notification through your email. To retrieve messages, either dial in to your Engin voicemail account or listen to the sound attachment sent to your email inbox.
Voicemail
When you are unable to answer a call, Engin voice mail will take a message for you. Record your own greeting to personalise your service.

Turbo Dialling
When making a call, you can speed up the time taken to dial a phone number.

Caller ID
When making a call, your phone number will be displayed to the person you are dialling provided they have access to Call Line ID.
Call Waiting
While you are on a call, the call waiting tone (one beep every ten seconds) will advise you of an incoming call waiting to be answered.
Call Return
If you have missed a call, or if you wish to call the last person you were speaking with, Call Return allows you to automatically dial the last caller's number providing their number has not been blocked from being sent.
Call Line ID
Provided your telephone has a Call line ID display screen, you can identify the number of the person who is calling you before you answer your phone. You will be able to see all calling parties telephone numbers unless they have blocked their number from being sent.
Calling Number Display
Provided your telephone has a Call line ID display screen, you can identify the number of the person who is calling you before you answer your phone. You will be able to see all calling parties telephone numbers unless they have blocked their number from being sent.
Three-Way Calling
While engaging in an active call, you can originate a call to a third party and have a three-way conversation.
Speed Dial
Engin allows you to store up to eight phone numbers for Speed Dialling at the press of two buttons. Make life easy by pre-setting emergency numbers and frequently dialled numbers.
Block Last Call
If you do not wish for your last caller to be able to ring your telephone again, you can block the caller's number providing they have not activated caller ID blocking.
Block Anonymous Calls
If you do not wish to speak to a caller whose Caller ID information is not available, you can block your phone from these anonymous callers.
Block Caller ID
When making a call, your phone number is sent to the phone of the person you are dialling. You can control sending your phone number by either blocking your number for all calls or by blocking your number on a call-by-call basis. (Not available with Engin to Engin calls). Available with all our products:
Do Not Disturb
If you do not wish to be disturbed, however require your phone to continue charging on the phone base, Do Not Disturb either gives callers a busy tone or diverts to your voice mail inbox (if your voice mail is active).
Call Forwarding
Call Forwarding redirects your incoming calls to another number. It can be set to forward all calls, only when there's no answer, or when your phone is busy. You set the functions through the Engin self care website. For details on the location and instructions of the call forwarding features please refer to the

Switchback
Switchback allows your Engin Voice Box to revert back to your existing PSTN Landline service to make outgoing telephone calls when needed. (Your device must be set-up correctly for this feature to work).
Landline Ring Through
Landline Ring Through connects your existing landline telephone number to your Engin Voice Box. This means if someone rings your existing landline phone number then the phone that is connected to your Engin Voice Box will ring.
